Man perishes in Warwick house fire
SCENES of Crime officers are investigating the cause of a fatal house fire on the Southern Downs last night.
Emergency services were called to the house ablaze on Wantley Street in Warwick shortly after 6.30pm.
Fire crews arrived to find the dwelling well alight. The house was totally destroyed.
After the flames were extinguished, investigators located a body in the rubble.
The body is believed to be that of a male resident aged in his 50s.
