Man pronounced dead at scene of two-vehicle crash in southeast Qld

A MOTORCYCLIST has died at the scene of a two-vehicle crash on the Darling Downs.

The accident happened at Ravensbourne, north-west of Toowoomba, just before 11:30am on Sunday.

Police said a motorcycle collided with a car on the Esk-Hampton Road.

The motorcycle rider, a 48-year-old man, suffered life-threatening injuries in the collision.

Sadly, he could not be saved and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Police released a statement just after 4pm, confirming the rider had died.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
