Man pulled dead from water at Royal National Park

Investigations are underway after the body of a man was pulled from the waters at Royal National Park this morning.

Emergency Services were called to Little Marley Beach just before 11am, after reports a body was seen floating in the water.

The man was winched by helicopter, though despite desperate attempts by NSW paramedics, he was unable to be revived.

A small fishing vessel was also found washed up on rocks near Bundeena.

Formal identification is still underway, though Police say the body is not believed to be the person missing from the Figure Eight Pools yesterday.

Investigations are ongoing.
