Man punched unconscious outside Sydney club

Police are searching for a man who allegedly punched another unconscious outside a club in Sydney this morning.

It’s alleged the victim, a 23-year-old man, had tried gaining entry to a licensed premises on Murray Street at Pyrmont at around 4.30am but was refused.

Police said the 23-year-old went to walk away at which time it’s alleged he became involved in an altercation with another male and was punched unconscious.


He was treated by paramedics before being taken to St Vincent’s Hospital with facial injuries.

Police were called and tried searching for the 23-year-old man’s alleged attacker, but he could not be found.

He is described as being Caucasian in appearance and aged in his 20s.

He was seen wearing a black shirt and brown pants.
