A MAN is recovering in hospital after he had a knife driven through his chest at a house in Wollongong.
The 29-year-old was knifed at the Walbon Crescent home in Koonawarra just before 9pm on Wednesday.
He was stabilised by paramedics at the scene before being taken to Wollongong Hospital for treatment.

Police released a statement this morning, confirming the man remains in hospital in a stable condition.
Fortunately, his injuries are not considered to be life-threatening.
The circumstances surrounding the stabbing remain unclear.
No arrests had been made at the time of writing.
Investigations are continuing, with police urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward.
