Man repeatedly stabbed in violent Sydney bar brawl

A young man has been rushed to hospital after allegedly being repeatedly stabbed in a fight at a bar in St Marys early this morning.

Police were called to the licenced premises on Forrester Road around 1.30am on Saturday.

When they arrived, they found a 27-year-old man suffering from multiple stab wounds, however his alleged attacker/s had already fled the area.

The man was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Westmead Hospital in a stable condition.

Police conducted an extensive search of the area with the assistance of the dog unit and police chopper and took three people into custody.

An 18-year-old man, 17-year-old boy and a 17-year-old girl, have each been charged with being armed with intent to commit an indictable offence, and affray.

The man has been granted conditional bail to appear at Penrith Local Court on Tuesday 3 July 2018, while the boy and girl, both aged 17, have been conditionally bailed to appear in a Children’s Court on the same date.
