Man robs Logan sandwhich shop and drives off in employee’s car

Police are investigating a robbery at a Meadowbrook sandwhich shop overnight.

Officers say a man walked into the store on Edenlea Drive at around 9.35 last night demanding money from the female attendant.

He took her into a room at the back of the store where he took the keys to her car and cash from the till before fleeing the scene in the stolen vehicle.

The attendant wasn’t injured in the robbery.

The man is described as being around 176cms tall with a slim build and a Pacific Islander appearance.

He was last seen in a cream coloured Nissan Micra with Queensland registration 526 LSW.
