Man remains on the run after escaping custody at NSW hospital

A man is still on the run after escaping while under guard in NSW south yesterday.

Police say that just before 2pm, Harold Brown was under guard at a hospital in the Shoalhaven when he escaped custody.

Officers immediately commenced a search of the surrounding area, with the assistance of PolAir and the Dog Unit however the 35-year-old was unable to located.

He is described as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander in appearance, 170-175cm tall with a medium build and black hair. He was last seen wearing underwear or green shorts and no shirt.

Police have advised the public not to approach Mr Brown but instead to contact Triple Zero immediately.
