Man on the run after violent altercation in Southport
Police are on the hunt for a man who was involved in a violent driveway fight in Southport overnight.
Police say that at about 6.30pm, officers were called to a home on Queen Street after two men became involved in an altercation on the driveway.
During the confrontation, a 46-year-old man sustained a laceration to his neck and wrist. He was transported to the Gold Coast University Hospital for treatment.
His attacker remains on the run with police investigations ongoing.
