Man rushed to hospital after explosion at Sydney substation
A man has been rushed to hospital in a serious condition after an explosion at a substation in Sydney’s south-west.
Emergency services raced to the substation in Airds around 12.00pm.
Two men were treated at the scene by paramedics.
One man, whose age is not yet known, suffered serious burns to his face, chest and hands in the blast.
He has been taken to Royal North Shore hospital for treatment.
