A man has been taken to hospital after a hit and run in Miami early on Wednesday morning.
Police say the 23-year-old man was walking along the Gold Coast Highway around 2.20am when he was hit by a car travelling in the northbound lanes.
The victim was transported to the Gold Coast University Hospital with a fractured leg and lacerations to his head.

His injuries are believed to be non-life threatening.
The vehicle involved is said to have driven away from the scene.
However, police are talking to a 19-year-old man after he presented himself to a Gold Coast police station.
