Man rushed to hospital after power tool accident on Gold Coast

A MAN has suffered serious injuries to his face following a power tool accident at a workplace on the Gold Coast this morning.

Just after 9.00am, emergency services were called to a location on Whistler Drive at Bureligh Waters following reports a man had been injured from a power tool.

The man, aged in his 20s, was treated at the scene by paramedics for a serious facial wound. A Queensland Ambulance spokesperson said the significant laceration was to the lower area of the man’s face.


He has been rushed to Gold Coast University Hospital for treatment.

It’s not yet known what power tool was involved.
