Man rushed to hospital after stingray injury

A man has been rushed to hospital after allegedly being stung by a stingray on the Gold Coast this morning.

Emergency services rushed to Currumbin beach just after 8.30am and treated the 65-year-old man at the scene.

It’s believed he was stung either by a stingray or a stonefish.

He has been rushed to John Flynn Private Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
