Man seeks refuge at Qld business after being stabbed

A major investigation is underway after a man suffered multiple stab wounds in Nambour overnight.

Emergency crews rushed to Currie Street just after 10pm after the 41-year-old man turned up at a business asking for help.

The man was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to the  Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a serious condition.

Detectives are still waiting to speak with the man, however, they are appealing for anyone with information or vision to come forward.

Investigations are ongoing.
