Man seriously injured after being crushed at Sydney construction site
A MAN has been rushed to hospital with extensive serious injuries after being crushed at a Sydney construction site.
Police say the man, believed to be aged in his 40s, was trapped under a scaffolding load that dropped from a forklift at the Sussex Street site in Barangaroo about 10.20am.
The man, believed to be a site supervisor, has been rushed to the Royal North Shore Hospital in a serious condition, reportedly suffering multiple significant injuries.
Police are assisting Work Cover with their investigation into the incident.
