A man has been rushed to hospital following a serious workplace accident on the Gold Coast this afternoon.
Emergency crews were called to a workplace on Activity Crescent in Molendinar just after 3.00pm on Thursday, following reports a worker had been injured.
Upon arrival, they found a man with “significant lacerations”.

A Queensland Ambulance spokesperson told myGC the injuries are believed to be the result of a power tool accident.
The man was treated at the scene by critical care paramedics before being taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
The spokesperson confirmed the High Acuity Response Unit were also on board for transport.
