Man seriously injured in jet-ski crash
Police are investigating after a man was seriously injured in a jet-ski crash on the Georges River at Georges Hall this afternoon.
About 4.15pm (Thursday 20 August 2015), emergency services were called to the Georges River, near the intersection of Henry Lawson Drive and Rabaul Road, following reports of a jet-ski crash.
Initial investigations suggest the rider of the jet-ski was riding alone, when he left the river and crashed into a tree.
The rider, a 35-year-old man, was treated at the scene by Ambulance Paramedics for serious injuries, and will be transported to hospital shortly.
No one else was injured during the incident.
A crime scene has been established and investigations are continuing.
