Man stabbed after scuffle erupts over mask at shopping centre

A man has been charged after he allegedly assaulted a security guard, before stabbing a stranger, following a fight over a face mask at a Sydney shopping centre.

Police have been told the 25-year-old man was with a woman and two children at the George Street centre in Windsor overnight, when the woman was asked by a security guard to put on a mask.

It’s alleged a short time later, the man allegedly approached the 59-year-old security guard and punched him a number of times.
