Man stabbed during alleged domestic dispute in Sydney

A MAN will face court today, charged with stabbing another man during an alleged domestic disturbance at a house in Sydney last night.

Emergency services were called to reports of a stabbing at the Ogmore Court home in Bankstown around 6pm.

When police arrived, they found a 21-year-old man with multiple lacerations to his back and hand.


He was treated by paramedics at the scene before being taken to Liverpool Hospital.

Police said his injuries were not life-threatening.

A 25-year-old man was arrested at the scene. He was remanded in custody overnight and is due to front Bankstown Local Court today, charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

Police allege the incident was domestic violence-related.
