Man stabbed in frenzied attack on NSW street

A man has been stabbed in a frenzied roadside attack on the NSW south coast.

Police say the 36-year-old victim was found by local residents bleeding from multiple stab wounds on the side of road outside a home in Warramunga Street at about 4.30am on Friday.

He was rushed to Shoalhaven District Hospital in a serious condition with stab wounds to his back and cuts to his neck and arms.

Investigators have been told the man had been arguing with another male outside a home in the street, shortly before he was found on the roadside.

Detectives are appealing for anyone with any information in relation to the stabbing to contact Crime Stoppers or Nowra Police Station on 4421 9699.
