Man stabbed in neck, chest on Sydney street

A MAN has been rushed to hospital with stab wounds to his neck and chest following an incident in Sydney’s southwest.

The man was found with multiple stab wounds, lying on Canley Vale Road at Canley Heights just after 3.30am on Sunday.

He was treated by paramedics in the street before being rushed to Liverpool Hospital in a serious condition.


Police, including the dog squad, swooped on the area in search for the man’s attacker, but they could not be found.

The circumstances surrounding the incident are not known.

A crime scene was established and examined overnight.

Investigations into the incident are continuing.
