A MAN has been rushed to hospital in a serious condition, lucky to be alive after being knifed in the neck during a domestic disturbance at a house in Sydney’s west.
Emergency services were called to the home on Bungalow Road at Mount Druitt about 1am on Saturday.
Police said they arrived to find a man in his 30s with a laceration to his neck and head.

He was treated by paramedics at the scene before being taken to Westmead Hospital in a serious condition.
A woman, also aged in her 30s, was found with less serious injuries and taken to Mt Druitt Hospital for treatment.
Police established a crime scene at the home and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
