Police are investigating after a man was stabbed outside a gym in Bankstown this afternoon.
About 2.25pm (Friday 7 August 2015), emergency services were called to Marion Street, after reports a man, believed to be the owner of the gym, had been stabbed.
Officers from Bankstown Local Area Command attended the location and found a man with a stab wound to his back.

The man, aged in his 20s, was taken to Liverpool hospital and is believed to be in a stable condition.
A crime scene has been established and will be examined by specialist forensic officers.
An investigation is underway and police are appealing for anyone that witnessed the incident or has information that may assist with their inquiries to contact Crime Stoppers.
