A WOMAN has been arrested after she allegedly knocked on the front door of her partner’s home and laid in wait for him to open it before stabbing him multiple times in a frenzied attack on the NSW South Coast.
Police said the 46-year-old man was stabbed three times in the shoulder after answering a knock on the front door of his Alfred Street home at Bomaderry around 3.30am on Friday.
The man’s attacker fled the scene and he called 000. He was treated by paramedics at the scene before being transported to Shoalhaven Hospital for treatment to what police said were non-life-threatening injuries.

The Alfred Street house was declared a crime scene and examined by forensic police.
Following inquiries, detectives arrested a 45-year-old woman at a home on nearby Neale Place.
She was taken to Nowra Police Station where she remains this afternoon, being questioned by police.
No charges had been laid at the time of writing.
