Man stabbed in the throat in frenzied attack at NSW boarding house

Police are searching for a man who allegedly stabbed another man repeatedly in the throat and chest during an altercation at a boarding house in Sydney’s west.

Emergency services were called to the house on Bungarribee Road in Blacktown at around 7.30pm last night.

Police said the 42-year-old victim was stabbed multiple times in the throat and chest during an altercation with another man.


He was rushed to Westmead Hospital in a serious but stable condition.

The offender fled the scene prior to police arrival.

Police said both men were believed to be residents of the boarding house.

Detectives are investigating and are speaking to numerous witnesses.

No arrest has yet been made.
