Man stabbed to death in frenzied attack

A MAN in his 20s has died after being stabbed multiple times in a frenzied attack on New South Wales’ south coast.

The 29-year-old was attacked at a home at Surfside, just north of Batemans Bay, just before 11.50pm on Saturday.

Police and paramedics were called to the home where they found the man with multiple stab wounds to his torso.

Despite the best efforts of emergency services to keep the man alive, he could not be saved and died at the scene.

Two men, aged 18 and 48, were arrested and taken to Batemans Bay Police Station, where they remained on Sunday, being questioned by police.

Police said initial inquiries indicate all three men are known to each other.

A crime scene was established at the Surfside home and detectives continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the man’s death.
