Man stabbed to death in Sydney’s south-west
A MAN has been charged with murder after a 22-year-old man was found stabbed to death on a street in Sydney’s south-west yesterday afternoon.
The young victim was found unconscious and not breathing on Wangee Road at Greenacre just before 2pm on Friday.
Police say he had been stabbed in the chest. Paramedics performed CPR at the scene, however the man could not be revived.
Just after 8pm last night, a 34-year-old man was arrested at Bankstown Police Station and charged with one count of murder.
He was refused bail and due to face Parramatta Local Court today.
