Detectives are investigating after a young man was stabbed to death in a quiet street along the Noosa River on the Sunshine Coast this morning.
The 21-year-old victim was found lying in a pool of blood in the middle of Ernest Street, Tewantin, at around 1am.

Police say he’d been stabbed in the chest during an apparent altercation with an unknown person or group.
He was rushed to hospital but pronounced dead on arrival.
Detectives are combing the area for clues and interviewing residents in the street for more information.
