Man stabbed with screwdriver in Brisbane park

A MAN has been taken to hospital after he was allegedly stabbed with a screwdriver at a park in Brisbane’s inner west on Sunday morning.

The 46-year-old was found with injuries to his chest and shoulder at Griffin Park, in the suburb of Norman Park, shortly after 10.30am.

He was treated at the scene by paramedics before being transported to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a stable condition.

There are reports a person is in police custody, assisting officers with their investigation.
