Man stabbed with screwdriver in burger restaurant brawl

A MAN has been stabbed with a screwdriver during a brawl in a Sydney burger restaurant overnight.

Police say a fight broke out between two groups of men inside the Bronte Road restaurant at Bondi Junction about 8.40pm on Sunday.

A 26-year-old man received a minor stab wound to his arm and was taken to St Vincent’s Hospital for treatment.

Police have been told he and two of his mates were set upon by three men armed with knives and a screwdriver in the restaurant.

The three offenders fled the scene in a vehicle, which mounted a footpath as it drove from the scene.

At this stage there are no descriptions available of the vehicle or the men involved.
