A MAN is in hospital this morning after being struck by a car in a hit and run on a busy Gold Coast road.
It’s understood he was struck along the Gold Coast Highway in Miami around 2.30am on Sunday.
The Queensland Ambulance Service said the man, whose age is not known, suffered lower leg injuries.

He was taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
Police are searching for the driver responsible.
