A MAN has suffered serious brain and facial injuries in a horror workplace accident in Sydney’s south.
Paramedics were called to reports a 59-year-old man had been badly injured at an industrial site on Jindalee Place site in Riverwood on Friday morning.
The man was reportedly using a grinder when the power tool broke apart and struck him in the face.

It’s understood the man was working alone at the time and was found unconscious by workmates.
It was not immediately known exactly how long the man was unconscious for before he was found.
Paramedics worked to stabilise the man at the scene before transporting him to hospital.
He was taken by ambulance to St George Hospital in a critical condition.
Police are investigating the circumstances around the accident.
