A man is in a serious condition after a horror multi-car crash on the Gold Coast overnight.
Emergency services – including Critical Care paramedics and the High Acuity Response Unit – rushed to the intersection of Ferry Road and Queen Street around 1.20 am, following reports that three cars had crashed.
A man in his 20s was trapped in one of the vehicles, with Queensland Fire and Emergency Services called in to extricate him.

He suffered chest, back and pelvic injuries and was rushed to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
A woman in her 20s was also hospitalised with chest and neck pain.
While a third person was checked over at the scene by did no sustain any injuries and wasn’t taken to hospital.
