Man suffers ‘serious’ arm injury from dog bite, Gold Coast
A man’s been hospitalised with a serious injury after he was bitten by a dog.
It happened at home in Highland Park just after 7.00pm last night.
Emergency services were called to the scene, where the man – believed to be in his 40s – had suffered a serious arm injury.
He was treated briefly at the scene, though had to be taken to hospital for further treatment.
He’s understood to be in a stable condition at the Gold Coast University Hospital.
It’s unclear what breed of dog was involved.
That’s the second attack in Highland Park in the last 4 weeks and I spent 3 of those weeks away working.
In the first attack the mans finger was bitten off
Council needs to get out there and stop unleashed dogs and non stop barkers.
