Man suffers serious injuries in Logan bar brawl
Investigations are underway after a brawl broke out at a Logan pub overnight.
Emergency services were called to a licensed premises along Bryants Road in Loganholme just after 1.00am, following reports three men were involved in a physical altercation.
Earlier inquiries suggest the group, who are all known to each other, were denied entry from the venue due to a lack of identification.
The altercation then broke out, with one of the men – aged in his 20s – suffering wounds to his head, chest and back.
He was taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a serious but stable condition, where he’s currently undergoing surgery.
Police are now investigating, with no charges laid just yet.
A Queensland Police spokesperson says they can’t confirm if a weapon was involved.
