A man’s been rushed to hospital with critical care paramedics on board, after he was allegedly assaulted in Pimpama today.
Emergency services rushed to an address in Pimpama just after 12.30pm, following reports a man had suffered a wound to his abdomen.
Critical care and the High Acuity Response Unit were also deployed, and are currently on board for transport to the Gold Coast University Hospital.

Early reports suggest the man is aged in his 30s and was stabbed in a stomach during an alleged assault, but no more information is currently available.
He’s believed to be in a serious but stable condition.
Police are investigating and remain on scene.
