UPDATE @ 1.15 PM | A MAN has been rushed to hospital in a serious but stable condition after becoming trapped under a ride-on lawn mower at Gaven this morning.
The man, aged in his 60s, was riding the mower on a Banyula Drive property when it rolled, pinning him underneath.
Emergency crews, including Paramedics and Qld Fire and Rescue officers were called to the scene about 11.40am and desperately worked to free the man from under the large machine.

He was treated at the scene for head, back and abdominal injures before being taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital.
A Queensland Ambulance spokesperson confirmed the man was “transported in a serious but stable condition under lights and sirens”.

EARLIER @ 12.00 PM | EMERGENCY crews are working to free a man stuck under a ride-on lawn mower on the Gold Coast.
The man, aged in his 60s, is believed to have been operating the mower at a private residence in Gaven when it rolled, pinning him underneath.
Queensland Ambulance crews were called to the scene about 11.40am.
The man’s injuries are currently unknown.
