Police are appealing for witnesses after a child was approached by an unknown man at Prestons yesterday.
The nine-year-old boy was outside a home on Taralga Street about 9.45am Thursday 17 September 2015, when a Toyota Landcruiser stopped near him.
The female driver didn’t speak with the child; however, a male passenger wound down the window and attempted to incite him into the car.

A member of the public witnessed the incident and intervened, before the vehicle left the area.
Police were alerted and officers from Liverpool Local Area Command attended and commenced inquiries.
Investigators are appealing for public assistance in an attempt to locate the pair and establish the circumstances surrounding the incident.
The driver is only described as being of Caucasian appearance with brown hair. While police have been told the male passenger had grey hair.
