A MAN has had to be restrained on a flight to Sydney after trying to open the emergency exit mid-flight.
Passengers were reportedly woken up by screams on board the Vietnam Airlines flight from Ho Chi Mihn City to Sydney.
The 27-year-old man was placed in cable ties by the crew in a bid to stop him from opening the door.

He was arrested by Australian Federal Police when the plane landed in Sydney.
He’s expected to front court next month.
