Man, two teens hurt after men storm Maroubra home

A man and two teenagers have been taken to hospital after two men forced their way into their Maroubra home on Thursday morning.

Police rushed to the Morris Place home after getting calls of a disturbance around 2.40am.

Officers spoke to those in the home, who claim they were threatened by the males who forced entry to the home.


When they arrived the alleged intruders had fled the scene.

A 46-year-old man had also fled and was found in a nearby yard after residents raised the alarm.

After assessment by NSW Ambulance Paramedics, he was taken to hospital for treatment to a suspected dislocated shoulder and facial injuries.

Two boys, aged 15 and 16, suffered minor injuries and were taken hospital.

Three other people, who were in the house at the time, were assessed on site by NSW Ambulance Paramedics. They did not require further medical treatment.

A crime scene was established and inquiries are continuing.
