Man under guard after stolen car crashes at Helensvale

A man is under Police guard in hospital after a crash involving a suspected stolen car in Helensvale.

The vehicle collided with another car on Monterey Keys Drive just before 6am.

It then slammed into an Energex power box.

The 22-year-old was rushed to the Gold Coast University Hospital under Police guard in a serious condition.

A second person was transported to hospital in a stable condition.

The accident forced the closure of the road between Glengate St and Greengate St.

Crashed Stolen car, the driver seriously injured and no others hurt is a pretty good outcome, he may not try that again.

Whether the kid stole a car or not, wishing that upon someone is just as bad as the person who committed the crime. You have no heart.

SCUM like this kill so many innocent people, IMHO no injury that he may have received is bad enough.

You must be a bleeding heart socialist, he was no KID 22 years old is an adult last time I checked. Stealing a car is a FELONY , he should go to jail.
