Man manages to walk away from fiery crash without a scratch in NSW

A man has miraculously walked away from a fiery crash without a scratch in Sydney’s north west this morning.

The accident happened on Merindah Road in Baulkham Hills just before 8am.

Police say a two-seater Shelby Cobra left the road, crashed into a parked car and slammed into a tree before bursting into flames.

The driver, a 28-year-old man, miraculously managed to free himself from the vehicle unassisted.

He was assessed by paramedics at the scene, but, surprisingly, was uninjured.

Police are investigating the cause of the crash and are urging anyone who witnessed the incident or may have information that could assist with the investigation is urged to contact Castle Hill Police on (02) 9680 5399 or Crime Stoppers.
