A man accused of seriously assaulting a baby boy in New South Wales will remain behind bars.
Police allege the seven-month-old boy suffered “significant” injuries to his head and body while in the man’s care in September.
A month after the boy was taken to Wyong Hospital on the Central Coast on September 23, the 32-year-old was charged yesterday with causing grievous bodily harm with intent.

He did not apply for bail when the matter came before Wyong Local Court on Friday and it was formally refused.
