Man with stab wounds dropped off at Gold Coast hospital

Investigations are underway after a man suffering a number of stab wounds was dumped outside the Gold Coast University Hospital.

A Queensland Police spokesperson told myGC the man, aged in his 20s, presented to the hospital around 2.00am this morning.

It’s understood he was suffering several wounds to his torso area and was rushed in for treatment.


Shortly after, another man turned up at the hospital with a number of injuries.

The police spokesperson said it appears the pair may have been involved in an altercation, however, investigations into the circumstances are continuing.

Both men remain under police guard in hospital.
