Man, woman assaulted at northern Gold Coast home

A man and woman have been injured during an alleged assault in Coomera.

Emergency services were called to Azure Way around 6.30pm on Saturday night.

Neighbours report seeing a heavy Police presence with as many as seven cars responding to the incident.


The man had suffered a head injury and was taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.

A woman was also taken to the Uni hospital with a chest injury.

Police say no arrests have been made and investigations are continuing.
