Man and woman charged over frenzied domestic stabbing in Qld

A MAN and woman have been charged with grievous bodily harm following a frenzied domestic violence-related stabbing at Caboolture, north of Brisbane.

The couple are accused of repeatedly stabbing a 35-year-old man during a disturbance at a house on Ascot Street around 10.30am on Friday.

The victim sought assistance from a neighbour and his attackers fled the scene.

The 41-year-old man and 30-year-old woman were arrested nearby a short time later. They have since both been charged with grievous bodily harm and are due to face court today.

The injured man was transported to hospital in a stable condition with non-life threatening injuries.

Police said all three people are known to each other.
