A MAN and a woman have been killed after their car left a highway and flipped on Queensland’s Darling Downs.
The accident happened on the New England Highway at Allora, 160km west of Brisbane, on Wednesday morning.
Police said the couple’s vehicle left the road and rolled near where the highway meets Clarke Road around 9.20am.

The man behind the wheel of the car was critically injured and sadly died before he could transported to hospital.
A woman in the passenger seat was rushed to Toowoomba Base Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Sadly, her injuries were too severe and she too died a short time later.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the circumstances surrounding the double fatality.
