Man, woman seriously injured in nasty hinterland motorbike crash

A nasty crash between two motorbikes in the hinterland has left a man and woman both in a serious condition.

The two motorcycles collided along Waterford Tamborine Road in Tamborine around 9.00am on Sunday.

Emergency crews rushed to the scene and found a man, aged in his 50s, suffering serious leg injuries.


A Queensland Ambulance spokesperson told myGC a woman, aged in her 60s, also suffered serious arm and leg injuries.

The man was taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a serious condition alongside critical care paramedics.

While the woman was rushed to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a serious condition .

The High Acuity Response Unit was also on board for transport.
