Manhunt after two women shot at outside Qld unit

A major manhunt is underway after two women were shot at in the Brisbane suburb of Carina this morning.

According to police, the women exited a unit on Adelaide Street just after 6am when they were approached by a man from a silver BMW parked nearby.

“A single shot was fired towards the women, aged 41 and 32, however it missed and they were not physically injured,” Queensland Police said.

The man ran back to his BMW and fled the scene along Adelaide Street towards Stanley Street.

Police are urging anyone with information that could identify the man, or the silver BMW in the area between 4am and 6.30am, to come forward.

Investigations continue.
