Manhunt underway after screwdriver-wielding thief steals car in Logan

Police are calling for public assistance, after a man was threatened and his car was stolen in Logan this morning.

An altercation occurred after a man demanded the keys to another man’s car just along Logan River Road after midnight.

The offender then produced a screwdriver and made verbal threats to the victim to hand over his keys.

The victim complied, before the offender fled in the stolen car.

Police are looking for both the car and the offender.

The car is a Nissan pulsar sedan with registration number 638KLH, while the man is described as Caucasian, approximately 25-year-old with tattoos on both calves.

Anyone with information is being urged to immediately contact police.
